8/31/2003 - This was my very first show. Jaye was married and I played at the reception. It was held at the Woodmoor Country Club in Monument, CO
10/4/2003 - I provided lighting and visuals for Calhan High school's Homecoming. The show was going great... Until The DJ whom was hired hit a show-stopping snag: His main amplifier cutout and I mentioned to the promotors that nothing in my rig ever does that, on even the worst of days. That landed me three more shows with Calhan High School over the next year. Organizer: Calhan Schools. 719.347.2766
11/15/2003 - A lockin. I played for five hours (until 1 AM, which was lights out time. I had many positive remarks made to me over the time I was playing. Organizer: Calhan Schools. 719.347.2766
1/31/2004 - CHS Snowball Dance: A lot of snow fell (the better part of a foot during the dance!), the vibe died, and I brought it back to life. Organizer: Calhan Schools. 719.347.2766
3/5/2004 - First house party. Dubachery? We've got it! I played plenty of westcoast rap. Biggie and 'Pac made a appearance (in song form) Chris, Hailing from LA, California rapped live along side the host, Conan... The party was THE afterparty for a school play: CHS Spring Show 2004. Promoters: The Korwecks of Calhan, CO.
6/31/2004 - Yet 'nother house party. Ryan Gaddy [TRU-G] Rapped, I played mostly old-school hip-hop and some house music. This was the first show that SHOOK glasses throughout the house(!)
7/24/2004 - Second wedding. Everyone but us is running late, rain cancels the wedding. It was to be done at Garden of the Gods, but was forced to be at Marcroft Hall in Chipita Park, Colo. Great event, only to have a guest's chair knock a plug out of the wall. Event organizers: The Huths (now living out-of-state)
8/3/2004 - A fundraiser: America's Night Out Against Crime. The band booked canceled last-minute and I got a l0 call from Beulah. We hauled our rig all the way down to Canon City to play at the show. All went well, except the darned power: My amp got so hot I could grill 'dogs on it! Never ever use 16-gauge orange cords for power outdoors... Then,as the show was ending, A storm loomed in the foothills west of Canon City, and my gear flew into the truck ASAP. Lightning was the no.1 threat. It didn't rain at all, however lightning kills many outdoors on a regular basis and is a well-known threat in Colorado.
9/18/2004 - Homecoming 2004. DJ KD (fellow Calhan alumni) cancelled about a week out from showtime. I was called in and brought 350+ people with me to make Calhan's Homecoming THE dance to be at in the area. Organizer: Calhan School District
12/31/2004 - New Years Eve with the BPM Productions of Colorado. I was called in a few days in advance, to perform at the Calhan Bowling Centre. It starts off pretty chill, then after 10:00, people flow in like crazy. The place is stuffed for midnight, and My talent as a DJ, made the party banging with everything from the Beach Boys to Paul van Dyk.
10/28/2005 - College blows... The doors out! Colorado Tech student council elects to have a fall fest. It starts chill and ends about the same. Good show according to the staff.
12/04/2005 - Sadie Hawkins: Calhan school learns just how fast I can get the show started: Colorado Light and Sound was booked, however, the DJ contracted got stuck in heavy snow near Castle Rock. I got setup in a matter of minutes, and then he finally showed up. We tag-team it all night long, and I get hired-in for Snowball '06
12/09/2005 - Fundraiser: Peyton High freshman class prints an ad in the Ranchland News for their fundraiser in early November. I called the number and left my info. In December , they call back and I take the gig on for free, being that it was for community service. I got the comment: "Eian, you rock the house the best that anyone can. Nobody plays that (dance music) and YOU play it the Best!" - PHS student
2/11/2006 - Calhan Snowball 2006. This dance was the first show I did with my freshly-built Power Distribution Unit, and plenty of lighting gear. I combined our system and the school's to make it loud enough to hear outside in the parking lots. I play anything and everything. People loved it just as did I. Promotor: Calhan School District. 347-2766
8/12/2006 - Beulah calls me in for another fundraiser: A day for Noah. Noah is a young child with cancer. She wanted to get everyone in Canon City together and raise money to help with his treatment. They raise nearly $3,500 dollars towards the cause. I play my bum off and rock the BEST old-school hip-hop sets. Then the thunder and rain make an appearance. COLD rain. VERY COLD RAIN. Most everyone is soaked, but our gear is not. Nearly an inch of rain fell during that summertime thunderstorm.
8/19/2006 - Laura gets married. I had a few unique problems to solve: wedding far from the dance area, and they wanted sound all over. I ran over three hundred feet of cable, as well as several power drops. A 100-foot un-balanced cable was ran alongside power and speaker lines, with NO noise. Overall, our event went better than planned, and a great impression was left on all who came. Organizers: Laura and Montana, of Calhan, CO. Montana was the owner of the Big Sky Ranch, located on Paint Mine Road just outside of Calhan.
9/4/2006 - My Best friends wedding! It goes great, rather chill, and easy show for us, seeing as they had everything picked out for me to play. Organizers: Donnie and Christy Novak
9/14/2006 - Karaoke: It tanked. Hard. Curly's Place [competitor bar in town, now permanently closed as of 10/2007] and lack of advertising hurt both the venue and me. I played hip-hop to an empty room, then around Midnight, people started showing up. I rocked it similar to a club in Colorado Springs, known as Union Station did. I brought a great time to Calhan, with this being the last show I have done in Calhan.
3/08/2007 - Moved to an apartment in Colorado Springs, for work. I ended up meeting many local DJs. Moved back out on July 24 '07 back to Calhan.
5/19/2007 - Sweet 16 party. I came back down to Canon City to spin a sweet 16 Party... Great selection on the client's part (writing up a playlist) made this event go silky smooth from beginning to end.
7/28/2007 - I did lighting for the DJs playing the patio at Blondie's, part of Burbon Steet (well-known nightclub) in Colorado Springs, CO. Despite using low-end Chauvet ZX-15s, the crew and the club-goers enjoyed the show.
8/31/2007 - Eastern Plains Intertribal Pow-wow. I was the Live Sound technician and Local Crew leader for Arvel Bird and One Nation, winners of the 2006 & 2007 Nammy awards. We had to rent in a few more stage monitors and use some of the band's own gear to pull this one off, but all in all, the group enjoyed our sound, and the crowd was rocked from beginning to end!
11/14/2007 - 3D Preparty: I joined DJ Joshibot and Will-O to rock a houseparty from 7pm till 3am. We played mostly House and Electro. See a short clip on our Youtube Channel.
12/26/2007 - I was in Murfreesboro, TN on vacation, and a relative of mine asks if I can DJ a new-years eve party for her youth group.
12/31/2007 - Showtime! I arrived at Barfield Elemetry at roughly 7:00 pm to load-in/setup for the NYE Party. Using the church's gear, which consisted of a Peavey powered mixer and a pair of Peavey 15" speakers, I was able to push almost 115dB through the PA at times during the show! See the videos on our Youtube channel!
01/11/2008 - Rocky of Cottage Productions needs a roadie due to back injury. The usual support, calls me up due to a scheduling conflict. On Saturday night, I arrived at Southside Johnny's at roughly 1:00 AM to a full house. The band, Phat Daddy & The Horn Doctors, plays until 1:35 AM. We started tearing down at 1:45 AM and were completely loaded out and driving home at 3:00 AM, exactly one hour after the public closing time.
12/24/2008: We get hired for New Year's Eve. The party was scheduled from 8pm till 1am. Location: Calhan, CO. This was my first gig with my new Tuba sub. The sound was well worth the sawdust and the wait.

10/31/09: I turn up @ the fairgrounds to promote my biz. The party I had tentitively booked didnt happen, so I made the best of the night and handed out a dozen or so business cards + the better part of 5 pounds of candy to the kids.
11/04/09: DJ-Lab 2.0 at the Underground. Bryan and management @ The Underground have moved this night to Wednesdays... Bravo! A pretty smart move in my opinion, as there are usually more patrons downtown club-hopping than on Tuesday nights. Promotor: Bryan 719.578.7111
11/14/2009: Bassphrodesiac. I'm not booked at this event, but highly recommend attending. Headlining are the Utah Saints and Miss Vicious. Numerous local DJs can be heard all night long on both stages at the Phil Long Expo Center in Colorado Springs. Tickets are 15.00 at Groove tickets. You can also buy tickets at Things that Glow in Denver.
